Evaluating the Effectiveness of the Momentum Strategy for Responsible Investment in the Russian Stock Market

چکیده
In modern conditions, the integration of ESG-criteria into investment decisions asset managers is considered as a key factor in sustainable economic development. We examine effectiveness Momentum-ESG strategy based on Responsibility and Openness Index comparison with Momentum strategy, which Moscow Exchange Broad Market Index, since December 2011 to 2020. propose an algorithm for integrating ESG criteria momentum strategy. select "winners" "losers" stocks their monthly return. The has high Sharpe ratio time horizon 12 months, - 6 months. testing shows its greater efficiency terms compared does not take account ESG-factors, investing period.
